Strive
A life of depression seems the current theme in this latest recession
Are we destined to live a life full of aggression?
Is this the time when our dreams get forgotten
and our thoughts turn so rotten?
Our instincts are all to survive and to forget honour and pride
because of this does it mean we do not aim to strive?
We have to aim for the best nothing more nothing less
How else do we rise from this floor we now rest?
There will still be those with their dream to oppress
but for each of those we have one with the wish to progress
It is important to live life without an ounce of regret.
Do what you can now for you can do nothing in death
