My Strength
Internal dialogue at an all time high
So many times I force a smile while inside I cry
Being a tough guy sometimes means you live a lie
Just to keep the panic low and not let it fly
No one wants to worry the loved ones in their life
I have to play my role I do so with pride
They mean so much to me I let my problems slide
Bravery comes easily with them by my side
Knowing they would pick me up if I needed a ride
I keep the concern low if I can’t then I hide
Is this my strength?
