Let me tell you why sometimes things don’t go our way
Sometimes you want heat but it turns out cold
Sometimes you want new but you end up with old
Sometimes you need a woman but all you get is a girl
Sometimes you want a diamond but all you have is a pearl
Sometimes I want YOU (U) but all I get is WHY (Y)
Sometimes I want curry but all I get is stir fry
Sometimes a hug is all we need
Sometimes we are like pigs, filled with greed
Sometimes ME and YOU are good together
Sometimes THEY become US and it lasts forever
